Job Description An employer is looking for a Data Center Manager to sit at Joint Base Andrews. This candidate will be responsible to design aspects of the data center support systems, including AC/DC power, UPS, HVAC, carrier infrastructures, internal/external cable plant, and overall data center layout. They will make conceptual designs and create project documentation before, during, and after construction of a new Data Center. A candidate should be able to collaborate and work alongside senior stakeholders to define the processes and standards that govern data center activities, coordinate and control access and logistic support, follow data center procedures and processes, manage and coordinate the installation and maintenance of data center equipment. Compensation: $75/hr to $80/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements Secret Clearance Bachelors Degree with 8 years in Civil Engineering or the equivalent relevant experience in datacenter or mission critical facilities design. Active 8140 cert- Security+, CySA+, Cloud+, PenTest+, Data+, CASP+, etc Previous experience with Data Center Strategy, Planning, and Roadmap maintenance Knowledge of power infrastructure layout from generation to rack level, redundancy levels and techniques, rack standards, properties and selection criteria, and power rail/strip options, cold aisle/hot aisle containment, and standards for fire suppression, security and safety Comfortability briefing and working alongside senior leaders Active CompTia SEC+ CE Cert Data Center Management Certification Experience or familiarity with DCIM management software such as NLYTE null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
