Job Description
Our customer is seeking an NetOps Specialist to sit at Camp Smith in Hawaii. This individual will be responsible for:
-Monitor the infrastructure and network by responding appropriately to alerts and events.
-Respond to incidents from triage through resolution, including escalations, where appropriate.
-Respond to infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to maintain operational effectiveness for services.
-Provide root cause analysis documentation in accordance with Government procedures. Provide data center support where appropriate.
-Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues.
-Provide incident notification to Government representatives.
Salary ranges from $80-81,500 based on experience

Skills and Requirements
Active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance
CCNA or CCNP certification
High school diploma and 5 years of overall IT experience
10+ years of professional IT experience, including advanced systems installation, operation, integration, and troubleshooting.
Proven ability to maintain optimum IT system operations and oversee upgrades and new installations of IT systems and services.
Experience coordinating with Cyber Security Specialists to ensure secure system design and implementation.
Demonstrated expertise in performing Tier III upgrades and troubleshooting for networking systems, IT systems, and storage networking.
Advanced knowledge of optimization and performance management for Internet Protocol (IP), DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
Experience integrating enterprise, regional, and local IT systems, ensuring sustained network operations or overseeing recovery efforts.
Be at customer site 5 days per week.
