Reporting to the Lead Physiotherapist, the staff Physiotherapist assesses, treats, educates and evaluates a care plan for individual patients. The physiotherapist also educates other health disciplines and the public in the various aspects of physiotherapy patient care.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceGraduation from a recognized university program in Physiotherapy. Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Physiotherapist. Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).
Skills And Abilities The ability to communicate effectively, and in a positive courteous manner; show sound professional judgement and initiative as an active member of the health care team; show a willingness to learn and apply new concepts in the academic and clinical fields of health care knowledge; the ability to work harmoniously with patients and staff. Our physiotherapy positions are rotating between inpatients, outpatients and our Low Intensity Rehabilitation unit. Weekend shifts are approximately every 8 weeks.
