**Your role and responsibilities**
'-As a System Services Representative for MVS Server, you will act under the category of Support as a Service (SaaS) function, providing on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of non-IBM server products.
-You will deliver technical support and operational services to clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
-Your primary responsibilities will include Perform On-Site Installation: Install, maintain, and repair non-IBM server products, such as Dell, Oracle, and Fujitsu, at client sites.
-Deliver Technical Support: Provide technical assistance, problem determination, and resolution for client issues related to installation, update, configuration, operations, or performance.
-Collaborate with Support Centers: Work with professionals in different support centers and business units to achieve high-quality problem resolutions and ensure client satisfaction.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* We are looking for an experienced candidate with very strong server repair and troubleshooting experience. Prior data center experience is preferred.
* This position is for a data center server technician that will be servicing HP, DELL, Lenovo, SUN, and other x86 based server equipment in a dedicated account in Delaware Ohio.
* You will be working second shift during the hours of 7:00pm - 7:30am on a two-week rotation. The two-week rotation schedule will be working 3 days one week, then working 4 days the next week including that weekend.
* An in-depth background verification/check is required by the client to be on-boarded and gain access to the facility. This will be cause for dismissal if not cleared by the customer background check process to work at the account.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Familiarity with IT Service Management: Exposure to IT service management principles and practices, including problem determination, incident management, and service.
* Prior experience servicing HP or Dell x86 server hardware.
* Self-driven and able to work alone without direct oversight.
