We are currently seeking a **Seasonal Spa Manager** to oversee the daily operations and success of the Stillwater Spa for the high season. This temporary leadership role is hands-on and service-driven, responsible for leading the spa team to deliver elevated guest experiences, support colleague development, and ensure smooth operational performance.
**Key Responsibilities Include:**
+ Oversee day-to-day spa operations, ensuring service standards are met or exceeded
+ Hire, train, schedule, and supervise licensed therapists and spa front desk colleagues
+ Lead daily opening and closing procedures, payroll tracking, and service commission reporting
+ Maintain treatment and retail inventory, monitor usage, and place supply orders as needed
+ Support the development of seasonal spa promotions and guest-facing offers
+ Respond to guest feedback and ensure high levels of satisfaction
+ Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and wellness
+ Coordinate with other departments as needed, including Sales, Housekeeping, and Engineering
**Financial & Strategic Leadership:**
• Proven experience in spa management, with a strong track record of achieving operational and financial goals
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement creative strategies for revenue generation and business growth
• Experience in forecast management and developing annual budgets to support long-term profitability
• Solid understanding of spa business financials, including the ability to interpret and act on profit and loss statements
• Skilled in aligning day-to-day operations with revenue goals and consistently meeting or exceeding financial forecasts
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills related to pricing, scheduling, inventory, and cost control
• Ability to lead with a business-minded approach while maintaining a luxury service experience for guests
**Qualifications:**
This is a **seasonal/temporary position** ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in a leadership role within a luxury wellness setting.
• Minimum 3 years of spa leadership experience within a luxury resort environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of spa services including massage, facials, body treatments, and aromatherapy
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong administrative skills with experience in scheduling, inventory, payroll, and team supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa software systems (e.g., Book4Time or similar)
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
