The groundsworkers maintain and cares for the Middlebury College grounds seasonally.

This is a part time, non-benefits eligible, hourly position. The hiring range for the position is $19.92 - $24.40 per hour.

Core Responsibilities:

Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from supervisors. Set up for major college events. Assist with equipment repair. Operate equipment for summer grounds maintenance. Remove litter and debris. Prepare Athletic fields for games, including marking fields and equipment set-up. Prepare topsoil, seed, water, fertilize areas for new grasses. Maintain turf areas. Plant, water, prune and mulch flower beds, shrub and tree beds. Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner and in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures. Assist General Services and Recycling work areas. Perform associated facilities service maintenance work including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
