What You'll Do

The Southeast Asia Alumni Relations and Career Services (ARCS) Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping BCG’s relationship with its alumni and supporting career transitions for departing consultants and alumni across the six countries in our Southeast Asia system. This role blends regional execution with strategic planning.


The Senior Manager works closely with SEA Office Leaders, People Teams, Alumni Nodes, and the regional ARCS team to drive meaningful alumni engagement and robust career support. The role also provides leadership and guidance to a Career Services Senior Specialist, 1-2 team members, who will report directly into this position.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Alumni Relations

Develop and implement a SEA-wide alumni engagement strategy in collaboration with Alumni Nodes and the SEA Leadership team, and support the execution of tailored plans in each of the SEA offices.Plan and execute high-impact alumni events—both virtual and in-person—in partnership with Marketing team to increase engagement.Manage segmented communications to alumni by location, cohort, or industry interest, leveraging global platforms and tailored content.Work closely with People and Operations teams to ensure a seamless and meaningful graduation experience for departing BCGers—including farewell communications, gifting, and celebratory touchpoints.Partner with PA alumni nodes to drive our Primary Relationship Officer program, which focuses on building relationship capital with our alumni.Oversee the accuracy of alumni records and ensure timely updates to the alumni database.

2. Career Services

Serve as the primary point of contact for outgoing BCGers, alumni, and friends of BCG seeking career transitions across SEA.Provide or coordinate career coaching tailored to individual needs—ranging from résumé reviews to job search strategies and recruiter introductions.Build and maintain partnerships with local and regional executive search firms and HR leaders to expand career opportunities.Promote access to job boards, market intelligence, and sector-specific resources.Track and report program metrics, including coach utilization, placement outcomes, and engagement levels.Drive the development and dissemination of the SEA Career Services newsletter, curating job opportunities, alumni career stories, market insights, and relevant resources.Conduct exit interviews with departing BCGers and synthesize key insights to share with the SEA leadership team—informing talent retention strategies and enhancing the alumni experience.

3. Regional Strategy & Program Execution

Support SEA-specific implementation of global and Asia Pacific ARCS priorities.Contribute to annual planning and budgeting for ARCS programs in SEA in coordination with the SEA HR Senior Director.Continuously gather feedback from alumni, stakeholders, and departing BCGers to improve offerings and measure impact.

4. Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration

Partner with relevant functions in People Teams and Marketing to create cross-functional value through alumni and career initiatives.Participate in global and AP ARCS forums to share best practices and represent SEA needs and priorities.Contribute actively to knowledge sharing and innovation across the global ARCS network.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate degree is a plus.Experience at BCG or in a professional services environment is highly desirable.10–15 years of experience in alumni relations, career services, or executive search. Certified in coaching is a plus.Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all levels, including senior leadership.Proven ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholders across diverse geographies and cultures.Strong project management and organizational skills.Analytical mindset with experience tracking KPIs and reporting impact.Fluent in English; proficiency in a Southeast Asian language is an advantage.

You will be part of the SEA People Team and you will be directly reporting to the SEA HR Senior Director
