SDET- Karate API Automation Engineer
Job Description As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will lead automation efforts across front-end, middle-tier services, and back-end systems. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and analysts to design and implement robust test automation frameworks. Your role includes developing and executing automated and manual test scripts for functional and regression testing. You’ll participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, story grooming, and test coverage reviews. You’ll also help shape the automation strategy by researching industry trends and presenting roadmap proposals to leadership. This role can sit fully remote but must be available for CST / EST timezone. Compensation: $55/ HR - $65/ HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience • 5+ years in QA or software development roles • Strong proficiency in Java/JEE or JavaScript and Object-Oriented Programming • Hands-on experience with Selenium and Cucumber BDD framework • Service testing experience with Karate, RESTAssured, SOATest, or SoapUI • Experience with Oracle SQL and CI tools like Jenkins, Maven, Git/Stash • Experience with service virtualization tools (e.g., Wiremock, Parasoft Virtualize) • Familiarity with UI testing frameworks (e.g., Galen, PhantomCSS) • Knowledge of CMS platforms like Sitecore or Documentum null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
