Capgemini is seeking an experienced SDET /Test Automation Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive test automation solutions using TestNG, Java, Playwright, and RestAssured. The ideal candidate will lead our testing strategy, drive process optimization, and establish effective testing metrics and KPIs to enhance our quality assurance capabilities across multiple programs.

Your roleDesign and implement robust test automation frameworks and architectures using TestNG, Java, Playwright, and RestAssuredLead and define the overall testing strategy and approach for complex enterprise applicationsEstablish testing standards, best practices, and guidelines for the QA teamDrive process optimization initiatives to improve testing efficiency and effectivenessDefine and implement meaningful testing metrics and KPIs to measure quality and testing progressCollaborate with development teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelinesMentor and provide technical guidance to test automation engineersEvaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies to address specific testing needsCreate and maintain technical documentation for test automation frameworks and processesWork closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategiesYour skills and experience12 years of experience in software testing with at least 10 years focused on test automation10 in implementing automation frameworks Web apps automation8 Years experience with Java, TestNG, Selenium, PlaywrightStrong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologiesExperience integrating test automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)Knowledge of version control systems and issue tracking toolsExperience with test management toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in development automation frameworks in MBSEMBSE verification experienceProficient in pythonExperience with AI, Agentic AI for software testingExperience in performance/security testing.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is desirable.
