If you see yourself as someone who never stops learning and who wants to unleash your potential, the IBM Consulting Associates Program is for you. **Your role and responsibilities** As an associate Quality Engineer at IBM, your technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create, and your recommendations and findings will help us make sure we're delivering the best of the best. Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to our clients and IBM alike. In your role you may be responsible for: Building automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Katalon, Cucumber, etc. Create test data and test environments Write and execute test scripts under the direction of a senior tester and test lead and identify errors and validate successes for any software solution Identify, understand, and document all programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specification goals for the given program, application or set of applications Do a deep-dive and present test results to clients and project teams clearly **Required technical and professional expertise** * UI Automation using Playwright (TypeScript) and Selenium (Java). * Expertise in automation framework design, modular architecture, and reusable test components. * Solid understanding of code quality metrics, static code analysis, and test coverage reporting. * Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. * Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and maintain automated scripts in fast-paced environments. * 5+ Experience with API automation using Postman or Java/TypeScript-based frameworks. * Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure and testing **Preferred technical and professional experience** Experience with SonarQube, GitHub, and version control best practices Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD concepts.
