You and your team will be responsible for all aspects of the customer experience - from the visual interface to the back-end services. Key job responsibilities As a Software Development Engineer, you will: - Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems. - Build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry. - Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed. - Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use. - Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software. - Organize and participate in collaborative Q&A sessions, workshops, and presentations to share your technical know-how. - Mentor more junior team members in their career growth. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
