Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK) is based in Redhill, Surrey, and provides motor finance to a network of car dealerships throughout the United Kingdom. We are currently looking for a Pricing & Commission Analyst to join the Finance team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract in a hybrid role which requires you to work at least 3 days a week in the office. Remote workers will not be considered.
In this busy role you will be a Subject Matter Expert on commissions, performing financial reconciliations of dealer balances to FIBA and support the wider business with expert knowledge on commissions. You will also provide support to key areas currently covered by the Pricing and Commissions Department such as Commissions, Pricing, MI and Commercial Debt Recovery.
Responsibilities will include:
Commercial Debt Recovery
Extracting and reconciling correct dealer statements to evidence amounts being requested in the letterAssisting with sending letters to dealersDeputising for Commercial Recoveries Manager as required, particularly monitoring and working the shared inboxLiaising with Commercial Team to provide further information about dealer debit backsPerforming debit back adjustments in the event of errors, using monthly reports and BI reporting as appropriateEscalating issues to Commercial Recoveries Manager and Pricing Manager as requiredChasing dealers for outstanding volume bonus balances and maintaining a trackerAd hoc tasks as determined by the Commercial Recoveries ManagerCommissions Accounts
Processing commission and dealer performance bonus payments in accordance with dealer Operating AgreementsEnsuring monthly DPB reports are correct and distributed for approval on a timely basisObtaining the correct approvals for DPB payments and ensuring evidence is capturedEnsuring approvals for DPB are escalated as required in the event of metrics not being metPerforming subsidy refunds and commission adjustments as required in line with correct governance and controlsQuality Control
Perform Line 1 Quality Assurance checks to ensure that commissions are correct on the system and escalate where applicableAct as a respondent for internal and external audit, providing technical guidance as requiredFinance Control
Producing technical calculation documents for customers including Early Settlement breakdowns and amortisation statements, as well as validating partial settlement calculationContinuous Improvement
Identify process improvements and implement solutionsTraining
Maintain and enhance existing knowledge to ensure completion of tasks to the highest levelSupport with delivery of training for new starters or furthering knowledge within the teamInvolve the team in the development of ideas to improve business performance/best practicesWhat we’re looking for someone who has:
