Scrum Master
Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled Scrum Master local to Boston or New Hampshire. The Scrum Master is responsible for the timely and successful delivery of features/enablers for programmatic business and/or technology objectives that require coordination of multiple Scrum teams. Facilitates process and program execution, escalates impediments, manages risk, and helps drive program-level continuous improvement. Compensation: $60-70/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline. • Minimum 6 years of IT and project/program management experience in Agile software development, including coaching on agile methodologies. • Familiarity with scaling frameworks and methodologies with 3+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach. Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and consensus-building skills. • Requires the ability to manage projects from conception to successful implementation. • Requires solid project management skills, ability to multitask, and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment. • Requires excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and team building skills, business judgment, and proven expertise in directing the efforts of a technical staff. • Requires in-depth knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies, and objectives. Knowledge of Financial systems and practices is beneficial, and knowledge of Liberty Mutual is preferred.
