**Job Description:**
**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Scrum Master to support Agile delivery for projects in the Healthcare and Life Sciences domain. The ideal candidate will have 7–9 years of overall professional experience, including 4–7 years of hands-on Agile/Scrum delivery experience, with expertise in facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and enabling high-performing teams. This role requires strong servant leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and deep understanding of Agile principles in healthcare and life sciences environments.
**Role Scope / Deliverables**
+ Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in line with best practices from certifying organizations (Scrum.org, SAFe, Scrum Alliance).
+ Guide and coach the development team, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
+ Ensure delivery of committed sprint goals while fostering continuous improvement.
+ Proactively identify and remove impediments, risks, and blockers that affect team delivery.
+ Support release planning, product backlog grooming, and prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners.
+ Track, measure, and report on Agile delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, etc.).
+ Act as a servant leader and advocate for Agile culture within teams and across the organization.
+ Promote compliance with healthcare and life sciences regulatory standards (e.g., GxP, HIPAA, FDA) during delivery.
**Key Skills**
+ Scrum Master training and/or certification (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master preferred).
+ Demonstrated experience facilitating large products or complex multi-team initiatives.
+ Strong healthcare and life sciences domain knowledge (pharma, biotech, medical devices).
+ 4–7 years hands-on experience with:
+ Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Rally, Azure DevOps).
+ Facilitating Agile ceremonies and deliverables.
+ Coaching and mentoring cross-functional Agile teams.
+ Driving delivery improvements through metrics and KPIs.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to thrive in fast-paced Agile environments with multiple priorities.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Advanced certifications such as PSM II/III, SAFe SASM, ICP-Client.
+ Prior experience working with healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotech clients.
+ Familiarity with compliance-driven delivery in regulated industries.
