WHAT IS THIS OPPORTUNITY?
As a Scrum Master, you will be managing the planning, organization and implementation of projects under the CTO Portfolio to ensure project goals or objectives are accomplished within approved timeframe, scope and budget.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Plans and executes projects with value of 1000K and above (benefit/cost), and at least a high level of complexity and uncertainty including managing project scope, requirements changes, multiple and competing demands and priorities as well as determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate fact-based metrics / assumptions.Develops integrated baseline project plans applying estimated models; documents estimating assumptions, refines plans and manages performance against them.Facilitates schedule and cost forecasting; mentors project managers in determining risk based provisions.Anticipates and quantifies tactical, operational and strategic risks applying risk-based approach to forecasting.Manages project communications including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, project team, etc. Timely engagement with RBC specific regulatory, compliance, finance, operational risk, supplier management, and other specific local or enterprise wide business processes, as determined by financial implications of the project’s costs, and the specific impacts of the change being introduced by the projectWHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
Undergraduate degree Business/Engineering (preferred)5+ years’ progressive project-related experience managing projects with high level of value (benefit/cost), and a high level of complexity and uncertaintyAdvanced project management knowledge including plan development; scheduling methodology; project metrics gathering, analyzing, and reporting; risk and issue assessment and quantification methodologies; cost/benefit analysis and alternatives identification; budgeting, financials and benefits management..Advanced people management knowledge and leadership skills, including talent management process (recruitment / selection, performance management, performance development / coaching, reward / recognition)Possesses a working knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologiesNice-to-have:
Experience working in the Financial/Insurance industryExperience with Iterative Waterfall methodologyPMP certification or equivalent (preferred)What's in it for you?
