In this role, you’ll lead Agile development teams, serving as a servant-leader, coach, and facilitator to ensure Scrum practices are effectively implemented and continuously improved—driving the delivery of high-quality software products. Location: New York City - Hybrid role (3 times per week in office) **Your future duties and responsibilities:** • Guide and coach the Scrum team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives • Remove impediments and foster a collaborative environment for the team • Protect the team from external distractions and interferences • Work with the Product Owner to ensure a well-groomed, prioritized backlog • Track and communicate team velocity, sprint/release progress, and other relevant metrics • Promote continuous improvement and help the team become high-performing and self-organizing • Support the organization in Agile transformation initiatives and adoption of Agile practices • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders to improve cross-team coordination • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to facilitate and lead remote, cross-functional, cross-location meetings • Identify and communicate key project risks, define mitigation strategies and manage to resolution • Manage diverse projects that vary in duration and size/complexity to deliver desired business outcomes, and to a high level of stakeholder satisfaction • Develop detailed, high-quality project plans including roadmap, timeline, resources, scope, schedule, assumptions, dependencies, etc. **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** • Candidates with 10+ years of experience within a Scrum Master role in business consulting/advisory services • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and software development lifecycle • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills • Strong conflict resolution, interpersonal, and leadership skills • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and teams across time zones Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, etc.) Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello) Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Background in software engineering or product management is a plus Other Information: CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $119,000.00 - $234,300.00.
