What you’ll doEnable your team to deliver predictable, high-quality increments by coaching agile ways of working, removing impediments, and fostering continuous improvement.
Facilitate focused, time-boxed, and outcome-oriented Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective).
Coach agile mindsets and practices, including empiricism, self-management, collaboration, and maintaining a clear Definition of Done.
Protect team focus and flow by managing work in progress, visualizing flow, and reducing context switching and unplanned work.
Partner closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to translate strategy into clear outcomes and well-formed backlog items, maintain prioritization clarity, define Sprint Goals, and ensure fast stakeholder feedback loops—without owning product decisions.
Promote engineering excellence in partnership with tech leads.
Maintain lightweight, actionable metrics (throughput, lead/cycle time, flow efficiency, escaped defects, blocker age, Sprint Goal success rate) for learning and improvement.
Surface risks and dependencies early, supporting scaled coordination when multiple squads work on shared systems.
Steward team tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence), keeping the Definition of Done and working agreements visible.
Serve as monday.com expert and administrator: permissions, workspaces, naming conventions, data hygiene, archiving, audits, and lifecycle management. Establish PMO process standards and governance across intake, prioritization, planning, execution, change control, risk/issue management, and benefits realization using monday.com
Use AI chat and agents to streamline planning, communication, and facilitation, with human review to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Apply AI to surface delivery insights and support continuous improvement, without replacing team judgment.
Balance Sprint work with incidents/problem management via clear intake and triage.
Align with change/release policies (CAB), favoring automation and standard changes.
Embed security, privacy, and audit needs into backlog and DoD with traceability.
Collaborate with SRE/platform on environments, pipelines, and observability; include operational readiness in DoD.
At Guidewire, we foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and responsible use of AI—empowering our teams to continuously leverage emerging technologies and data-driven insights to enhance productivity and outcomes.
Scrum/Agile knowledge (Scrum Guide, roles, events, artifacts); certifications (e.g., CSM/PSM) are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent.
Servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and clear communication.
Impediment removal across organizational, environmental, or interpersonal blockers.
Practical experience with team tooling (e.g., Jira, Monday.com) and maintaining actionable delivery metrics.
Familiarity with responsible AI‑assisted productivity (prompting basics, verification of outputs, bias/privacy awareness) and the ability to guide safe usage within agile workflows.
Authorized to work in Mexico.
Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Stable throughput and improving cycle time; higher Sprint Goal attainment with fewer carry‑overs.
Declining blocker age and incident rework; higher team sentiment and stakeholder predictability.
Safe, measurable adoption of AI‑assisted practices that reduce manual work and improve clarity/quality.
The people we employ give their all, and in return, we offer flexibility wherever we can, such as:
Flexible work environment.
Health and wellness benefits.
Paid time off programs including volunteer time off.
Market-competitive pay and incentive programs.
Continual development and internal career growth opportunities.
