Job DescriptionMonitor in transit cargo (RM, NPM, Merchandises, Tooling, Spare Parts, etc) and documentation requirements, to arrange cargo delivery and communicate details about ETA and ETS to customers services agents and to internal customers. When needed, assures correct workflow for CFDI requirements.Responsible for booking sea and air freights, reviewing shipping documents (B/L, AWB, Invoices and Packing Lists).Arranging domestic and international trucking as needed.Responsible for preparing and sending all requested documents e.g. instructions letters, to Customs Brokers on regards to all shipments dispatched from and to our Plant. Validate and Approve Import and Export Summaries (Pedimentos) on time.Virtual Operations Activities: responsible for creating the proforma Invoice, and assure on time compliance of regulations (opening and closing of virtual pedimento) when needed.Responsible for all parcel shipments of indirect materials, samples, spareparts, etc. including the proforma invoice, AWB and tracking.Responsible to set up and monitor transportation until final delivery in regards to shipments as requested and as necessary. Always has the approval of the responsible SCM or final user before proceeding (specially with Premium Freights).Responsible to align and select the contracted and approved Logistic vendors.Works closely with SCM's Team to coordinate Goods Receipt Schedule, specially in Holidays + Month End Closing + Year End Closing.Coordinates onboarding customs broker (complete documentation, validation of HTS, portal web in case to apply).Oversee adherence to all relevant trade compliance policies, such as Incoterms, FTAs, and local regulations.Serve as the primary liaison with customs brokers agencies to ensure smooth clearance of goods across borders.Monitor the customs clearance process, troubleshoot potential delays, and escalate issues in case of to Trade Compliance Central functionsRegularly alignment with procedures stablished with Trade Compliance Central functions preventing fines or penalties.QualificationsBachelor degree completed C-TPAT / OEA RegulationsSupply Chain Management (including logistics policies, systems and processes)Project management skills, tools and techniquesProblem solving and decision making tools and techniquesInternational Foreign Trade & RegulationsCustoms LawContinental Rules & ComplianceAdvanced English (Interviews will be in English)Previous experience in annex 24 and 31Experience in Foreign tradeAdditional InformationAt Continental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
