Job DescriptionUSSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.
Hardware / Physical Deployment Technician
Deploys computers and thin clients and uses configuration management tools to automate the deployment and maintenance of secure configurations across the enterprise.
Coordinates with the customer and maintains frequent and close coordination in the progress/support of installation-related projects.
Provides installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware.
Installs, configures, and upgrades computer hardware and software.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
AA/AS, 3+ years of experience
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; A+ or Network+ or Security+ or CySA+
Location: Offutt AFB, NE
