Job DescriptionUSSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.
Field Services Technician Telecom I
Provides telecom administration support for rack and stack, Layer 1, and remote deployment of physical infrastructure.
Provides troubleshooting support for telecom system hardware and software issues that are moderately complex in scope.
Performs telecom support for software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
Conducts telecom hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS/GED, 0+ years of experience
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; A+ or Network+ or Sec+ or CySA+
