Job Description This is an on-site position located in West Sacramento, California Discover Impactful Work: You'll work in accredited laboratory dedicated to testing trials. As a part of this team you will have an impact on the development of new tests and assist in the application of new drugs. A day in the Life:  • Training on new assays  • Share your results with other team members  • Performs routine and complex laboratory analyses  • Assists in the development and verification of test methodologies  • Assists in the resolution of technical problems  • Provides training to laboratory personnel  • Ensures instruments and equipment in the lab are functioning properly, performs equipment PM and schedules service  • Participates in instrument validations  • Complies with safety policies and procedures Other duties as assigned We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements • BS degree in Sciences  • Strong working experience within Molecular Biology disciplines  • 5+ years of experience in a Biology Laboratory testing environment   ○ Experience with NGS   ○ Experience with qPCR (quantitative polymerase chain reaction) Demonstrated ability to perform complex data analysis is required. • Microscopy experience • Master's degree • Experience using Ion Torrent
