The job:
Join our innovative R&D department to make a meaningful impact on scientific advancement. As a Scientist III in the Analytical Development team, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing new analytical QC methods for control of reagents and kits/products (PEA).
You will be part of a team that drives innovation within the area of Proteomics, work on new and exciting projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
You will design and execute experiments, analyze complex data, identify critical parameters, resolve technical challenges, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. A key focus will be to drive systematic improvements of QC methods to increase robustness and efficiency. This role offers opportunities to mentor colleagues while working independently.
Requirements:
• PhD from the life science field and multiple years work experience, preferably in a similar industry.
• Preferred Fields of Study: Biochemistry, Biology, Proteomics or related discipline
• Extensive experience of developmental work, especially method development. Experience in method validation is advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise in standard molecular biology techniques, protein affinity assays, calorimetry, SPR, PEA, qPCR, NGS, enzymatic assays as well as automated workflows and instrumentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to design experiments and interpret complex data
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring colleagues
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities to present technical information to diverse audiences
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Track record of scientific contributions through publications, presentations or patents preferred
• Proficiency with relevant Design of Experiment (DOE) software and data analysis tools is beneficial
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
• English language proficiency required, Swedish language proficiency is advantageous.
