The Manufacturing Technical Support (MTS) team is seeking an entry-level Scientist to join our dynamic and collaborative group. MTS plays a vital role in supporting manufacturing operations by qualifying raw materials, resolving production issues, and conducting laboratory investigations. This position provides hands-on experience with automated testing systems and offers exposure to blood bank diagnostics.

Key ResponsibilitiesExecute investigations, projects, and process development tasks under guidanceDevelop a strong understanding of products and the scientific techniques employedLearn to navigate standard operating procedures (SOPs), cross-functional documentation, and internal resourcesUtilize statistical tools (MiniTab, JMP, Excel) to compile and analyze dataAssist scientists by preparing and organizing test dataMaintain accurate, audit-ready documentation including notebooks, reports, and formsOrganize and manage test samples and data throughout the course of investigationsCommunicate findings and updates clearly and effectively with team membersSkills & Qualifications

Required:

Clinical laboratory testing experienceBlood typing knowledgeBasic technical writing and data organization skillsFamiliarity with statistical software

Preferred:

Experience with automated systems or blood bank medical devicesCertification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Science or a related field (other science degrees considered with relevant experience)0–3 years of experience in blood testing, blood typing, or diagnostic testingPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
