Your role:

We have an exciting Scientist 2 role within our Cell Biology team (Transmission Electron Microscopy). In this role, you will be responsible for providing scientific support in the conduct of routine and complex GMP studies performed within a contract testing laboratory.

Responsibilities include:

Acting as Responsible Scientist on studiesAssisting in the performance of laboratory proceduresProviding scientific support to laboratory staff performing routine and complex proceduresLiaising with external clients for whom studies are being conductedMaintaining study records, including deviation records, to meet regulatory standard.

Who you are:

You hold a BSc or advanced degree in Cell Biology or a related Biological Science disciplineYou have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working to GMP standards in a similar regulated laboratory environment – this is essentialYou have hands-on experience in transmission electron microscopy (TEM), histology, or virus analysis – at least one of these is requiredYou are experienced in conducting root cause analysis and investigations related to deviations and quality issuesYou are confident in communicating directly with clients and responding to technical queriesYou demonstrate a strong focus on quality, safety, and regulatory complianceYou are highly organized and detail-oriented with strong planning skillsYou are proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independentlyYou have excellent interpersonal skills and are fluent in English (written and spoken)Experience with LIMS or similar lab information systems is preferred
