Position Overview
Partnership with SWCCCASE, is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker with a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) to support students across Pre-K through 12th grade. This position serves a collaborative, well-supported school environment with a manageable caseload and strong interdisciplinary teamwork.

+ School: Morton Gingerwood School
+ Address: 16936 Forest Ave, Oak Forest, IL 60452
+ Grade Levels Served: Pre-K through 12th
+ Caseload: Approximately 30 students
+ Start Date: August 6, 2025 (per SWCCCASE 2025–2026 Orientation Calendar)
+ Assignment Duration: 2025–2026 school year
Schedule
+ Daily Hours: 8:15 AM – 3:30 PM
+ Lunch: 30-minute unpaid, duty-free lunch
+ Planning Time: 200 minutes per week (paid)
Support & Team Environment
+ Two full-time School Social Workers assigned to the building
+ One Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on site
+ Collaborative, team-based service model
Interview Process
+ Initial Screening Interview: Virtual or in person with the Assistant Director
+ Second Interview: In-person interview and school tour with the Program Administrator
Qualifications
+ Required:
+ Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
+ Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
Onboarding Requirements
Candidates must complete standard SWCCCASE onboarding, including:
+ Two completed reference checks
+ Physical examination
+ Additional standard school compliance requirements
