School Psychologist – Tucson, AZ
Pay Rate: $60–$65 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Assignment Duration: January 2026 – May 2026 (Remainder of the 2025–2026 school year)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide on-site psychological and assessment services for children and adolescents in an educational setting in the Tucson area. This role focuses on supporting students with a variety of developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs, while contributing to the evaluation and eligibility process for specialized support services.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments.
+ Support students’ academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development.
+ Participate in the creation of intervention strategies and support plans.
+ Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote student well-being.
+ Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
+ Provide services on-site at an assigned location (specific site TBD).
Minimum Requirements
+ Active, current State of Arizona School Psychologist license/certification.
+ Experience with pediatric or adolescent populations (school-based experience preferred).
+ Master’s degree in Psychology or School Psychology preferred.
+ Compliance with all professional and ethical standards.
+ Current CPR certification, if applicable.
+ TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray), if required.
+ Current health certificate if required by state or contract regulation.
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
Assignment Details
+ Start Date: January 2026
+ End Date: May 2026
+ Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
+ Caseload: To be determined based on organizational needs.
+ Program & Support Structure: To be discussed during the interview.
+ Location: Tucson, AZ (specific site TBD).
+ Interview Format: In-person or virtual.
