School Psychologist (Hybrid/Remote Flexibility) Plymouth, MA Amergis is currently seeking a contracted School Psychologist to support at the middle school level, working with students in grades 6–8. This is a full-time, testing-only position with a small caseload and built-in flexibility, including a hybrid or partially remote schedule. Position Highlights + Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM + Schedule: Flexible | Hybrid / Remote options available + Caseload: Small, manageable caseload + Role Focus: Testing and evaluations only Key Responsibilities + Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for middle school students + Perform all student testing onsite + Complete report writing and follow-up documentation remotely + Collaborate with school staff as needed regarding assessment results What Makes This Role Unique + Testing-only position (no counseling or case management) + Flexible, supportive school environment + Ability to work from home for non-testing responsibilities + Hybrid structure designed to promote work-life balance Schedule & Work Environment The school is open and accommodating with scheduling. Ideally, the psychologist will be onsite for all testing sessions, while report writing and other administrative tasks can be completed remotely. Requirements & Credentials + Master’s degree in School Psychology (Massachusetts requirement) + Completion of a 1,200-hour school psychology practicum + Massachusetts Initial School Psychologist License + MTEL required + Must reside in Massachusetts to support occasional school-based visits + Ability to pass required background checks, including: + School CORI + Fingerprinting The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
