School Psychologist (Hybrid/Remote Flexibility)

Amergis is currently seeking a contracted School Psychologist to support at the middle school level, working with students in grades 6–8. This is a full-time, testing-only position with a small caseload and built-in flexibility, including a hybrid or partially remote schedule.
Position Highlights
+ Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
+ Schedule: Flexible | Hybrid / Remote options available
+ Caseload: Small, manageable caseload
+ Role Focus: Testing and evaluations only
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for middle school students
+ Perform all student testing onsite
+ Complete report writing and follow-up documentation remotely
+ Collaborate with school staff as needed regarding assessment results

Schedule & Work Environment
The school is open and accommodating with scheduling. Ideally, the psychologist will be onsite for all testing sessions, while report writing and other administrative tasks can be completed remotely.
Requirements & Credentials
+ Master’s degree in School Psychology (Massachusetts requirement)
+ Completion of a 1,200-hour school psychology practicum
+ Massachusetts Initial School Psychologist License
+ MTEL required
+ Must reside in Massachusetts to support occasional school-based visits
+ Ability to pass required background checks, including:
+ School CORI
+ Fingerprinting
The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment
+ Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred
+ Master’s degree in psychology preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
