Our client, a school in Lower Manhattan, is looking to hire a Temp to Perm School Office Assistant. This position will start early/mid August 2025, require 5 days in office. Hours 8:00am-4:00pm, availability for OT as needed. Temp duration is approximately three months before conversion.

Position supports Co-Heads of the school:

Provide administrative support such has scheduling, calendar management and meeting coordinationWork on special projects for the teamAssist in data management and filing systemsMaintain database and spreadsheetsField phone callsProcesses incoming mail, packages, and deliveries helping the facilitates teamBuilds a positive, safe, and orderly environment by following proceduresProvides oversight for presentation of other shared spaces throughout the school

Qualifications:

BA preferredExceptional verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and high attention to detailDesire to be around children and ability to interact appropriately with people of all ages and development levelsKnowledge of GSuite productsCollaborative spirit, proactive, follow through and committee to learning new things

Compensation:
