School Occupational Therapist (Compton, CA)
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students every day! We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Occupational Therapist to join our education team in Compton. In this role, you will support students’ growth by helping them develop the skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in a school setting
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on student goals and accommodations
Qualifications:
- Current CA Occupational Therapist License required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting student development and success
