Salary: $30 / Hour Location: Nashville, North Carolina Job Type: Full-Time (Monday- Friday) Pay Rate: $30 /hr (Weekly Pay) About the Role: The Certified School Nurse (CSN) identifies andtreats health conditions among students in the school setting. The CSN providesinstruction for the student’s general wellbeing and disease prevention. TheCertified School Nurse must assess the student’s physical condition in theschool setting and refer the student to appropriate resources as needed to besuccessful in school. Minimum Requirements: Current nursinglicense for the state in which the nurse practices Certification orCredential in school nursing, required One year priorschool nursing experience required Pediatricexperience, preferred Current CPR ifapplicable TB Questionnaire,PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Healthcertificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet allfederal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18years of age Qualifications: + Valid Nursing License North Carolina + Experience working with students/ pediatrics. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff. + Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students/children.
