Pay rage : $32- $36 (DOE)
We are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide healthcare support to a student(s) in a school setting. The nurse will oversee the student’s medical needs, ensure adherence to treatment plans, and collaborate with school personnel and parents as necessary.
Responsibilities:Administer first aid and prescribed medical care
Monitor and document student’s health status, including seizure activity
Provide G-tube feeding as required
Maintain secure management of medication and health supplies
Communicate with parents and school staff regarding health concerns
Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations
Provide support during student transportation, if applicable
Qualifications:Current LPN/LVN license in the practicing state
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
PPD or Chest X-ray (as required)
Preferred: Experience in pediatrics or school nursing (previous pediatric experience is a bonus)
Knowledge of child development, medical disorders, and public health regulations
Strong communication and documentation skills
Computer proficiency preferred
