Position: School LVN Location: Los Angeles, CA Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our school-based team. In this role, you will support the health and safety of students by providing direct nursing care, assisting with daily medical needs, and working closely with school staff to ensure a safe learning environment. This position is ideal for LVNs who enjoy working with children, thrive in a structured setting, and value making a meaningful impact every day. Responsibilities: - Provide direct nursing care to students, including medication administration, diabetes care, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring, and other specialized health procedures as needed. - Respond to health incidents, emergencies, and injuries promptly and professionally. - Maintain accurate documentation of student health records, treatments, and daily logs. - Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and parents to support student health plans. - Monitor and assist students with chronic health conditions throughout the school day. - Uphold all safety and healthcare protocols in accordance with district and state guidelines. Qualifications: - Active California LVN license in good standing. - Current CPR/First Aid certification. - Experience working with children, pediatrics, or school settings preferred. - Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassionate care.
