Position: School Credentialed Nurse Pay Rate: $70–$80/hour Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Credentialed Nurse in Walnut Valley to support student health and wellness across K–12 school sites. This role involves identifying and treating health concerns, promoting disease prevention, and providing health education. The nurse will assess students’ physical conditions and coordinate referrals to appropriate resources when necessary. Key Responsibilities: + Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to students. + Promote and educate on healthy practices and disease prevention. + Evaluate students’ physical conditions and refer to medical professionals as needed. + Support individualized care plans for students with special health needs. + Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment. Minimum Requirements: + Valid School Nurse Services Credential (required) + Active nursing license issued by the state (required) + CPR certification (required) + Minimum age: 18 years + Two years of experience as a school nurse (preferred) Additional Details: + Must be comfortable accepting same-day assignments and traveling to any K–12 school site within WVUSD. + Assignments may include 1:1 student care and classroom-based support. + Part-time/PRN hours available for the 2025–2026 school year. + Reliable transportation required for some assignments. + Diapering and toileting assistance is mandatory for certain cases.
