We're looking for a School Caretaker who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Pay: £12.81 per hour 
Location: Springwell Community College, Middlecroft Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England, S43 3NQ

Role Responsibilities:

Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies. Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used. Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds. Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups. Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.

What we're looking for:

Previous caretaking experience (preferred but not essential). Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Open, honest, self-driven, and determined. Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality, with willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
