Utilize specialized knowledge of behavioral science principles to support youth in becoming more successful in their home and community environments.Engage in a supportive educational approach to promote improved functioning and meet treatment goals while encouraging recovery and increased resiliency.Establish and manage a caseload, coordinating with supervisory staff to identify problems and establish treatment goals.Participate in emergency services to provide rapid aid in cases of emotional crisis.Provide and coordinate comprehensive follow-up for all clients, including outreach and engagement as needed.Adhere to Burrell Behavioral Health Operational Guidelines and professional ethics while participating in staff development activities.Contribute to data collection, program evaluation, and maintenance of various contracts for services.Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related human service specialized fields of study.Additional Qualifications:
Must have or obtain within two (2) weeks of employment a valid Driver’s License.Must have use of personal auto for occasional transport of clients and auto liability insurance including uninsured motorist coverage.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to communicate effectively with residents, employees, family members, and community contacts.Ability to apply logic and understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems.Must be able to establish effective relationships with clients and the needed network of care via telephone and personal contacts.
