Role Overview As the 1:1 School LPN/LVN, you’ll serve as an essential healthcare support for your assigned student throughout the school day. Key responsibilities include: + Monitoring and documenting the student’s physical condition + Addressing health concerns promptly and appropriately + Promoting general wellness and providing basic health education + Supporting disease prevention and safe practices + Delivering care within the School LPN/LVN scope of practice + Ensuring compliance with state education codes + Communicating with school staff and referring to outside healthcare resources when needed ?? Minimum Requirements + Active LPN/LVN license in Virginia + Adherence to professional standards of nursing practice + One year of school nursing experience (preferred) + One year of pediatric experience (preferred) + Current CPR certification + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable) + Current health certificate (per state/contract) + Meets all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be 18 years or older ??
