The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. Our most immediate positions start as a substitute. Our subbing opportunities work as a flexible on-call on-site schedule near you, weekly pay and Monday – Friday open scheduling. Full day subbing: around 8am to around 3pm. Alerts can be as early as the day before or day of around 7am scheduling. Provides a flexible schedule and opportunities for various experiences with surrounding districts. Minimum Requirements: + High School diploma or equivalent required + Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age + Comfortable with tolieting support needs + Comfortable de-escalating behaviors Please note that this pay range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation that will be offered for this position based on the circumstances.
