School Aide Position: School Aide Department: Special Education Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (Depending on school needs) Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dependable School Aide to support students who require instructional, behavioral, and/or personal assistance. Under the supervision of the special education department, teacher, or designated supervisor, the School Aide plays a key role in ensuring students receive the care, guidance, and support they need to succeed. In this role, you may also assist students with personal care, physical mobility, or therapeutic needs as directed by a licensed rehabilitation practitioner, social worker, or healthcare professional. Responsibilities + Provide instructional support to students under the guidance of a teacher or supervising staff. + Assist students with behavioral needs in alignment with individualized plans. + Support students with personal or physical care needs when required. + Help implement therapeutic or mobility-related activities as directed by healthcare professionals. + Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. + Follow all established procedures, protocols, and professional standards.
