The School Aide provides instructional and/or behavioral support to students under the supervision of the special education department, classroom teacher, and/or a designated supervisor. This role may also include providing support services related to personal care, physical mobility, and therapeutic needs, as directed by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker, or other qualified healthcare professional. The School Aide plays an important role in supporting student success, safety, and overall well-being within the school environment.
