The Scheduling Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating medical evaluations and ensuring an exceptional client experience. This position involves scheduling and coordinating appointments between clients, physicians, and examinees, while managing associated administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:
+ Schedule and coordinate appointments between clients, physicians, and examinees, ensuring compliance with client-specific requirements regarding provider specialties and locations.
+ Arrange all necessary ancillary services to facilitate the smooth execution of medical evaluations.
+ Utilize scheduling systems and tools proficiently to manage and update appointment information in real-time.
+ Communicate effectively with clients and medical providers through professional emails and phone calls, managing high volumes with accuracy and efficiency.
+ Respond to incoming inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
+ Prioritize and process referrals in a timely manner to meet tight deadlines and organizational goals.
+ Operate in a multi-screen, multi-tasking environment to manage scheduling logistics seamlessly.
+ Ensure adherence to organizational policies and protocols, maintaining accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Qualifications:
+ Proficiency in MS Office applications and scheduling systems, with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
+ Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with accuracy and speed.
+ Comfortable managing spurts of high-volume calls, handling up to 20 calls every few hours.
+ Strong written communication skills, with the capability to compose professional emails at high volume.
+ Experience in healthcare, or related fields, is highly preferred.
+ Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a dynamic setting.
+ Experience working with multi-screen setups for enhanced productivity.
+ Prior experience in a dispatch role or similar scheduling position is advantageous.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
