As the Scheduling Analyst (Navy), supporting our Pascagoula, MS location, you will help evaluate and make recommendations to shipbuilder and government test schedules and develop metrics to evaluate risks and completion of test objectives. You will be fully integrated into the US Navy team of civilians and uniformed personnel. Serco supports DDG 51 who oversees the construction of the DDG 51 Class Guided Missile Destroyers and monitor and evaluate the shipbuilder and Aegis Test Team adherence to their Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and performance to the plan. Serco works hand in hand with the DDG 51 program to ensure the new DDG’s are state of the art and ready to serve the nation.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Monitor the testing efforts of the ships under construction against the plan in the IMS and report discrepancies to the Program Manager’s Representative.
+ Review the IMS and examine for consistency, changes, predecessor and successor relations, and critical path.
+ Develop a process with timelines, to review Shipbuilder and ATT deliverables related to test completion and IMS, and consolidate assessments and findings in a clear, cohesive, and concise manner.
+ Conduct detailed analysis of the Shipbuilder’s IMS, ATT schedule, and any “mini-network” or other schedules for all DDGs under contract with a focus on the test network and completion of the combat systems equipment. The IMS is an integrated, resource-loaded, schedule containing the networked, detailed tasks necessary to ensure successful project execution by the Shipbuilder and utilizes a critical-path methodology.
+ Develop and update metrics on test completion, schedule adherence, and risk to meet established test and trial milestones.
+ Complete other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
+ Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance
+ US Citizenship
+ A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar.
+ Additional relevant experience can be considered to offset degree requirements.
+ 4 years of experience (Experience developing and updating IMS schedules of moderate complexity highly preferred).
+ Expertise with Primavera, MS Project, or other similar IMS scheduling tools.
+ Experience in ship construction techniques and methods is required.
+ Knowledge of engineering analysis techniques.
+ Ability to travel 10% of the time.
