POSITION OVERVIEW\n
Serve as the Group's focal point for all ancillary training policy, data consolidation, and 621 CRW-directed and locally developed computer database system management. Also, as required, serve as the Group's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for 621 CRW-directed and locally developed computer database systems.\n
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\n
Responsibilities:\n\nCoordinate with the training officer or training Non-Commission Officer, Unit Deployment Manager (UDM), and Operations Officers (DO) to arrange a schedule to facilitate operations, qualification, duty position upgrade, tests, exercises, and continuation training accomplishment to meet required currency and progression standards, by (IAW) CRG\/Commander priorities.\nBuild long- and short-range schedules to ensure full coverage of all instructors, evaluators, support personnel, and supervisor positions using 621 CRW-directed and locally developed computer database systems as required.\nCoordinate with Squadron leadership on a daily and weekly basis. Coordinate with other base contractors as required for accomplishment of duties. \nMonitor member's leave, temporary duty, scheduled medical appointments, or other scheduling commitments. Deconflict member schedules and coordinate with Squadron Training Flights to ensure members can meet assigned tasks using 621 CRW-directed and locally developed computer database systems as required. \nTrack daily exercise\/ground\/academic training requirements and accomplishments to facilitate accurately. Updates will be reported to Squadron leadership. \nFacilitate last-minute schedule changes to ensure complete coverage by working with the current mission commander\/operations supervisor (or equivalent) and flight responsible for the shift that is not fully manned.\nPublish\/post-scheduling data on computer database systems for unit long-\/short-range ground\/academic, exercise, and training event schedules. \nComply with 621 CRW applicable locally-developed guidance when building training schedules.\nPerform daily updates of scheduling data to compensate for changing conditions and training completion rates. \nCoordinate with Wg Staff, Group Staff, and outside agencies\/exercise participants and higher headquarters, for example Turbo Distribution (TD), GREEN FLAG, Mobility Guardian, Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC support, for reporting and to facilitate exercise and special event schedule coordination. Provide inputs to Wing Training\/Wing Plans and Programs by attending designated DO meetings for schedule coordination and deconfliction. \nProvide inputs to Group Ops by attending designated meetings for schedule coordination and deconfliction. \nProduce No Show letters for Squadron Commander and DO's.\nUpdate the Block Week schedule based on currency requirements and instructors availability\nChair monthly training meetings with unit training program reps.\nCoordinate with the Host Unit for needed support and IAW Host Base MOA or superseding Base Support Agreement. \n\n

QUALIFICATIONS:\n
Required Qualifications:\n\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\nActive Secret Clearance\n1+ years of experience as a military training scheduler\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint\nThe scheduler must be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a medium- to high-activity environment.\n\n
Preferred Qualifications:\n\nUSAF training scheduler experience\nExperience supporting the 621 and\/or 821 CRG\n\n
