Description:Responsible for scheduling clients Home Health/Hospice services with clinician continuity. Identifies client need and schedule clinicians with the appropriate competencies to match client level of care. The Scheduler is expected to exercise judgement in determining the most effective and efficient method of scheduling and rescheduling patients. Provide optimal levels of communication with patients, clinicians, clinical managers, physicians, and homecare coordinators. May also provide coverage for multiple sites and/or Hospice support.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8a-5p.

Provide optimal levels of communication with patients, clinicians, clinical managers, physicians, and homecare coordinators. May also provide coverage for multiple sites and/or Hospice support.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

• Healthcare experience preferred.

• 1-2 years of scheduling experience in a health care setting preferred.

• Demonstrates understanding and interpretation of Medical Terminology.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

• Ability to type 50 wpm and be proficient in Microsoft office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

• Working knowledge of standard office equipment.

• Ability to consistently demonstrate commitment to the mission, vision, values, and Organizational Code of Ethics and adhere to the Compliance Program.
