Job DescriptionJob Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Schedule & KPI Engineer / Cost Engineer to join our dynamic project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both project scheduling and cost estimation functions—ensuring that project timelines, key milestones, equipment readiness, and production costs are accurately tracked and effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule & KPI Engineer
Develop and manage the master project schedule, consolidating all key deliverables and milestones.
Track and update the status of each equipment, including operational readiness (OPR) and issue logs, to maintain a comprehensive view of readiness.
Support project teams in identifying scheduling conflicts or delays and recommend mitigation actions.
Produce and maintain project KPI dashboards and progress reports for stakeholders.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on project timelines and objectives.
Cost Engineer
Estimate Total Production Cost (TPC) for new and existing projects.
Analyze and estimate Direct Material Cost (DMC) and Vendor Tooling (VT) for new part numbers (PNs) and proposed changes to existing ones.
Support the procurement team in supplier negotiations by providing cost insights and industrial process alignment.
Define processing operations, develop cycle time benchmarks, and manage workflows using company tools.
Contribute to defining and tracking the project time schedule in alignment with cost control objectives.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in a similar role within industrial, automotive, rail, or manufacturing sectors.
Strong proficiency in planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), Gantt chart creation, and KPI reporting.
Good understanding of the Scheme of Development (SOD).
Solid experience with cost estimation methods and industrial process definition.
Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems and workflow tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
