Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Imaging/Coding Associate (Scanning Clerk) to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in accurately converting physical documents into electronic formats while ensuring data integrity and organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with advanced imaging equipment and software, contributing to efficient records management processes. Responsibilities: • Prepare physical documents for scanning by organizing and reviewing them for quality. • Operate advanced imaging equipment to convert paper documents into electronic files. • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of scanned images and indexed data. • Index and categorize electronic documents for easy retrieval and organization. • Create data backups by burning files onto CDs as required. • Utilize document imaging systems and software to maintain records efficiently. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with established procedures for document handling. • Maintain familiarity with imaging equipment and troubleshoot minor issues to ensure smooth operations. • Assist in archiving and managing electronic records for long-term storage. • Adhere to best practices in records management and electronic archiving. Requirements • Proven experience in document imaging, records management, or electronic archiving. • Familiarity with imaging equipment and scanning software is highly desirable. • Strong understanding of quality assurance procedures for document handling and data integrity. • Ability to organize and index electronic files effectively. • Proficiency in using consumer electronics and imaging systems. • Knowledge of thermal imaging and sheet-fed scanning equipment is a plus. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
