Description We are looking for a meticulous Imaging/Coding Associate to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This long-term contract position involves converting physical documents into electronic formats while ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process. If you have experience with document imaging, archiving, or related technologies, this role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a focused and organized environment. Responsibilities: • Prepare physical documents for scanning by organizing and reviewing them for completeness. • Operate imaging equipment to convert hardcopy documents into electronic files using advanced scanning techniques. • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of scanned images and associated data. • Index and categorize scanned documents according to established guidelines. • Burn electronic data onto CDs or other storage media as required. • Utilize imaging equipment and software effectively to meet productivity goals. • Maintain records management and electronic archiving procedures to ensure proper document storage and retrieval. • Collaborate with team members to streamline scanning and coding processes. • Troubleshoot minor issues with imaging equipment to minimize downtime. Requirements • Proven experience in document imaging, records management, or electronic archiving. • Familiarity with imaging equipment, software, and scanning systems. • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality assurance checks. • Proficiency in organizing and indexing electronic files. • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Basic technical troubleshooting skills for imaging equipment. • Knowledge of thermal imaging and continuous sheet-fed scanning techniques is a plus. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
