Job Title: Scan Tunnel Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual with at least two years of experience in mechanical assembly within an electronic or mechanical manufacturing environment. This is a contract-to-hire position lasting six months, offering the opportunity to become a permanent team member. The role requires a full-time commitment on the first shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

Read and understand assembly drawings.Assemble and build mail automation equipment.Utilize hand and power tools to assemble equipment.Work independently or within a team, depending on project requirements.

Essential Skills

Ability to read assembly drawings akin to simple furniture blueprints.Recognize and identify mechanical parts such as pulleys, bearings, springs, and gears.Identify hardware components including screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and snap rings.Experience with both hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing setting is preferred.Candidates with strong mechanical skills and detail-oriented nature are highly valued.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
