We are looking for an experienced and versatile Scale House Attendant to join the team at our location in St Cloud, FL. Previous waste experience would be preferred but not required; willing to train the right candidate.

SHIFT: Monday - Friday from 7:00am to closing. Scale house stops receiving trucks at 5:00pm. Every other Saturday from 6:00am to closing. Scale house stops receiving trucks at 12:00pm.   Shift ends each day once all trucks have weighed out.

PAY: $18/hr DOE with a $1,500 stay on bonus paid out in increments over the course of your first year

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet and direct all customers and guests upon entry of the LandfillWeigh incoming trucks and customers in and out of the computer systemReceive payments via credit card from cash customersReconcile the day’s sales transactionsData entry experienceEnsure incoming customer’s material is acceptable, safe and does not contain any inappropriate itemsCommunicate regularly with all employees and customersApproach all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented mannerDirect vendors, customers, and guests to follow the Site Operating PlanParticipate in cleaning work areas, common areas, and equipmentFollow opening and/or closing proceduresPerform other assigned duties that maintain compliance with the Site Operating Plan
