**Waste** **Connections** has an immediate opening for a **Scale Attendant** to join the team at our **Landfill in** **Bethlehem** **PA.** **Schedule –** Monday through Friday 5:45 AM- 3:30 PM / Every other Saturday 6:45 AM to 12:00. **As a scale attendant with us the minimum responsibilities are:** + Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry of the transfer station. + Track weight information from scale to computer system and get appropriate signatures. + Calculate payments for customers. + Closing duties include balancing cash drawer, as well as reconciling the credit card machine or POS system. + Ensure incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material. + Approach all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner. **What we need from you:** + Excellent customer service skills. + Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel. + Must have flexible availability to include weekends. **What you’ll get from us:** + Competitive Compensation + 401(K) with company match; let us help you save for your future + Healthcare; Medical, Dental, Vision + Perks, perks, perks!
