Position Overview

We’re looking for a reliable and computer-savvy Scale Attendant to join our team at the Heart of Florida Landfill. This role is essential for ensuring accurate weight tracking, smooth traffic flow, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Operate computerized scale system to weigh incoming and outgoing vehiclesAccurately enter and manage data using Excel and internal systemsPrint and distribute scale tickets and receiptsCommunicate with drivers and direct traffic as neededAnswer phone calls and assist with general inquiriesMaintain a clean and organized scale house environment

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer useStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience in logistics, dispatch, or landfill operations is a plus
